About The Brick Oven

Your locally owned family pizzeria! Authentic New York style pizza from wood fired brick oven

Located at 21040 A Miflin Rd, Foley, AL 36535, The Brick Oven operates as a pizza restaurant serving Foley in Alabama. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as italian restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. Typical hours are 11 am–8 pm. It is closed on Monday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (251) 955-1233. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, brickovenfoley.com.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 765 reviews, which is a strong result for a pizza restaurant in Foley and suggests consistent service.

Foley is in Alabama, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Foley is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Alabama's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Placed an order online, wanted the Brick Oven pizza but wanted to add FRESH Mozzarella. When we picked up, the gray-bearded man who checked us out was super rude to my husband, complaining that we didn’t β€œadd fresh mozzarella” at checkout online when we were adding customization, even though that’s not even listed as an option on the website (I did check before I put it in the notes). We were fine with the up charge (also in the note) and my husband was ready to pay the difference, but the man acted like it was a big inconvenience to have to add that. Poor customer service, and the pizza definitely doesn’t look like the Brick Oven pizza pictured on the website.

This restaurant was recommended by some locals and was a pleasant little surprise. Dug gave fast friendly service and recommendations. The food came out fast and hot during the lunch rush. Pizza was very good, Garlic cheesy bread was some of the best I've ever had, a definite must have. If you find your self in Foley, or at the OWA find The Brick Oven. You won't regret it.

Absolutely delicious! The entire family enjoyed the pizza. The wife and I split a large"Brick Oven" pizza- pineapple on her half only. That pizza was the best pizza I've ever had, I even enjoyed a slice of her half that had the pineapple and let me tell you, next time I'll get pineapple on the whole thing. I've never liked pineapple on pizza but the slight sweetness of the pineapple along with the spiciness of the pizza was perfect. We visit family here every 3 months or so and this place is now on our list of places we go as a family every time we come down. Edit for 12/26/2025. We came back. Food was just as good. Didn't see the owner this time but obviously he has built confidence in the team that runs things when he's actually getting a moment with his family. He should hold them tight knowing the team he developed did an amazing job. Props to your team sir. It was perfection

This is One of our favorite places to eat while on vacation. We've never had a bad pizza from here. The service is top notch. Always friendly and attentive. The pizza crust has a little crunch and an excellent chew. One of our favorite appetizers is the Lava Bread. We order the Large Meatza most visits. I also recommend the meatballs, they are excellent.
